Services · Client work in our own stack

Six services, all six running our own apps.

We do the whole thing: the app, the backend behind it, the subscription that pays for it, and the App Store listing that brings people to it. Every service below is something we do across our own six apps, not a capability we added to a list. If you only need one piece, that is fine.

01 ServicesSix disciplines · in-house

What each one includes.

01

iOS apps, end to end

Native iOS built in Swift and SwiftUI, including the parts most shops hand back to you: App Store Connect setup, TestFlight, screenshots, review replies and the rejections that come with them. Widgets, App Intents and Apple Watch companions where they earn their place.

  • A shipping app in the App Store
  • App Store Connect and TestFlight set up
  • Widgets, App Intents, Watch app where useful
  • Review submissions and rejection handling
02

AI product features

Food-photo recognition, coaching that reads a user's own history, and vision models that run against real camera input rather than a demo dataset. The hard part is not the model call, it is the retries, the failure states and the cost per user, and that is the part we have already solved once.

  • Photo or camera analysis pipelines
  • LLM features with real failure handling
  • Prompt and cost tuning against live traffic
  • Fallbacks that keep the screen usable
03

Backend and infrastructure

Postgres schemas that survive a schema change, authentication that does not lock users out, edge functions for the work that cannot live on a phone, and row-level security written so a leaked client key cannot read another person's data.

  • Postgres schema and migrations
  • Auth, accounts and account deletion
  • Edge functions and webhooks
  • Row-level security audited row by row
04

Subscriptions and paywalls

Subscription plumbing that reconciles: StoreKit and Adapty wired to your backend, webhooks that do not silently drop a renewal, and paywalls tested against live traffic instead of opinion. Trials, family plans, referrals and win-backs included.

  • StoreKit or Adapty integration
  • Server-side receipt and webhook handling
  • Paywall variants and pricing tests
  • Trial-to-paid funnel reporting
05

Growth and ASO

Keyword and metadata work in App Store Connect, Apple Search Ads run against a real break-even cost per install rather than a vanity budget, and cohort analytics that tell you whether the last release helped or hurt.

  • Keyword research and metadata rewrite
  • Screenshot and preview-video sets
  • Apple Search Ads campaign management
  • Retention and cohort reporting
06

Product design and brand

Interface design that survives contact with a real device, an icon that reads at 60 pixels, and an App Store screenshot set that does the selling. One visual language from the icon to the last settings row.

  • App icon and brand system
  • Screen design and interaction detail
  • App Store screenshots and preview video
  • Design handoff or direct implementation
02 How we workOne-person studio · a few projects at a time

Four steps, no deck.

  1. 01

    A direct conversation.

You email, we talk about what you are building and what it has to do. No discovery workshop, no proposal deck.

  2. 02

A written scope and a fixed price.

You get the pieces, the order, and what “done” means for each one, before any money moves.

  3. 03

    Builds you can hold.

Work goes out as TestFlight builds as it is made, so you are looking at the real app on your real phone, not screenshots of progress.

  4. 04

    Ship, then stay.

We handle submission and review, and we are still around after launch. Our own apps are the proof: the oldest has been in the App Store since 2024 and is still maintained.

Hype Dev LLC is a one-person studio. That is the point: you talk to the person writing the code, there is no account manager between you and the work, and a decision takes a message rather than a meeting. It also means we take on a small number of projects at a time, so we will tell you plainly if we are not the right fit or not available.
